Rossini: “La calunnia è un venticello” – Il barbiere di Siviglia
Comment: Rossini wrote quite a few operas and Il barbiere di Siviglia (The Barber of Seville) is one of his finest. The aria presented here, “La calunnia è un venticello” is difficult at best, and Ruggero Raimondi makes it look easy.
