Chopin: Polonaise in A flat major, Op. 53
Comment: It’s a shame that Chopin didn’t produce more works, as his Polonaise in A flat major is a stunning masterpiece; I only wish for more.
Recommended Recording: For this work I’ve decided not to influence you with my choice. I recently listened to a recording of this exact work and I wasn’t happy with the sound of the piano. So my advice for Chopin’s Polonaise is to head to Amazon.com and listen to samples of the CDs, and then select the one that has a piano that sounds the way you personally like it.
