Beethoven: Symphony #5 – 1st Movement:

Comment: Probably one of the most recognizable tunes in all of music, the first four notes are what make Beethoven’s 5th Symphony in C minor, Op. 67, famous.

Recommended Recording:
There are quite a number of reasonably priced Beethoven Symphony boxed sets available, but my favorite version of the 5th is conducted by Carlos Kleiber.
